William Downie has set the benchmark for site-specific, minimal-intervention Pinot Noir in Victoria. From harvests in Burgundy at Domaines Fourrier and Hubert Lignier to his own Gippsland vineyards, his work has helped redefine Australian Pinot as both world-class and deeply expressive of place.

Patrick Sullivan, a kindred spirit in the vines, focuses his craft on Chardonnay grown with obsessive care in Gippsland’s volcanic soils. His philosophy is simple: maximum work in the vineyard, minimal hand in the cellar. The result? Wines that speak clearly of their land, their time, and their grower’s hand.
