We hope you'll join us for the inaugural Small Poppies trade tasting! Small Poppies is a group of four importers who work with wines from lesser-known (and less appreciated) wine regions: Culture Wine Co (South Africa), Danch & Granger Selections (Central & Eastern Europe), Legend Imports (Australia), Tupetz Wine Connection (Germany). ​At our inaugural tasting, we'll be welcoming trade from 3:30-5pm and the public from 5-7pm. Each importer is showing 5 wines, a distilled and focused look at some of the most important styles and regions in our respective focus areas. Walk-ins are welcome and RSVPs are appreciated. $50 for the public (please reach out to Bay Grape!) and free for the trade before 5pm (please RSVP with link). Prost! Gesondheid! Na Zdravje! Join us for an intimate wine dinner hosted by Jon and our friends at Little Betty in Birmingham, featuring standout selections from Legend. Explore the vibrant, expressive world of contemporary Australian wine through a thoughtful five-course meal and guided storytelling. Each course has been lovingly crafted by Executive Chef Kyle Biddy and will be matched with wines that reflect the diversity and elegance of Australia's top producers.

Jon is heading back to his roots - New Jersey! Big thanks to Judy and Harry's for hosting us and three of our favorite Aussie selections. So hang out for a full BTG Takeover this Thursday, June 19th! Jane will be joining our friends at Foxcroft Greenville for a pop-up tasting, pouring six wines from all across Australia. Drop in, no reservations required! 

Jane will be speaking on Australian wine at Second City Sommeliers' Boot Camp! The Boot Camp will be two days chock full of networking, tasting, service, and seminars. Jane will be presenting on Day 2, July 1!

The Crested Butte Wine and Food Festival is an annual fundraiser for the Crested Butte Center for the Arts, the premier visual and performing arts venue in the region. For over 30 years, the Center has been dedicated to providing arts and cultural experiences that inspire and entertain all audiences, whether they call Crested Butte home every day or just for the weekend. And the Wine and Food Festival has been a summer staple in the Gunnison Valley since 2008.  Jane and Jon will be hanging out all week and participating in or leading three events.

Jane will be in the house and Miel's Sommer Camp (get it!?) -- a chance to take in some wine education and have a bit of fun. Seema Prasad, owner of Miel and Harvest Wine Shop, went to Australia with Legend in February, and we're here to bring you all the combined learnings. The theme is Cool + Warm Climate Australia, and how both climates can produce wines that are balanced, vibrant, and fresh. 

Join Jane and Jon, hospitality veterans, authors, and the leading authorities on Australian wines, for an afternoon tasting featuring six selection from historic and exciting newer producers. How to Drink Australian books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Kim Chalmers of Chalmers Winery will also be in attendance.

Join us for a Sunday evening summer party on the Four Winds Farm patio, with visiting winemaker Kim Chalmers and Jane and Jon from Legend Imports. Come ready to enjoy Chef Jon Rosnow’s summer menu showcasing fresh produce and plenty of grilled and wood-fire roasted items. The all-star wine team will be making rounds to each table, visiting with guests to talk about the wines and our experiences in the industry. In addition to the food and wine offerings, enjoy all your favorite lawn games, a walk in the hop fields, or cool down inside while you explore the historic barn. The farm has endless fun and beauty to explore! Festivities will run from 5-8pm, but please plan to arrive between 5-6pm.

Australia is in the midst of a renaissance, and we could not be more excited. Joining us to help make sense of the momentum, while sharing their fabulous wines, are winemakers William (Bill) Downie and Patrick Sullivan. They'll join us on the mezzanine of the world-renowned retailer Flatiron at 6pm on Wednesday, September 3 for a double-barreled masterclass.

Uptown Wine Mixtape brings two visionary voices in Australian wine to La Compagnie Flatiron, with William Downie and Patrick Sullivan pouring wines and picking tunes. Expect bottles that are precise, alive, and utterly compelling—poured alongside good beats and good company. Reservations are recommended through Resy. 

Bill will be in Milwaukee for one night, pouring his wines and those of Patrick Sullivan at the iconic Waterford Wine & Spirits in Milwaukee. These are some of the greatest pinot noirs and chardonnays being made in Australia (and rivaling some of the greatest wines made from those grapes anywhere in the world). Taste through some of their most rare and highly allocated wines, with the ticket price being credit toward purchases. 

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we bring the Outback to Appalachia at Cataloochee Ranch! Patrick Sullivan and Legend's Jane Lopes will be in the house, showcasing Patrick's world-class Victorian chardonnay and pinot noir, as well as a few other gems from the Legend portfolio. Executive Chef Jeb Aldrich and his team will prepare an exciting five-course meal to enjoy alongside the wines.

We are honored to be in the house for Leluia Hall's FIRST EVER wine dinner! Their chef team has crafted a unique six-course menu to pair with four of Patrick’s wonderful wines and two wines from the broader Legend portfolio.

On Wednesday, September 17, we’re thrilled to be at Frenchy's, one of Charlotte's best wine and beer shops/bars, to feature the wines of Patrick Sullivan. Patrick will lead us through a lineup of his most exciting bottles—sharing the stories, techniques, and inspiration behind each pour. This is a rare chance to meet Patrick in person and dive deep into the world of cutting-edge Australian winemaking. Seats are limited, so grab yours early and join us for an evening of discovery, conversation, and seriously good wine.
